This unique home was designed on the sloping site of an established neighborhood. There were many design challenges, the slope was one, another was the conservation zone. The conservation zone is non-buildable area that, in this case, is forty feet in from the back and twenty feet from the right side thus reducing the buildable area on the site. In addition, the neighborhood has covenants, conditions and restrictions which dictate design and require approval from the neighborhood architectural control committee. The result includes large spaces with ample daylight access and the spacious garage will serve as storage of more than just cars. The large garage makes this house incredibly rare within this established southwest hills neighborhood.
